PLS-CADD - Utility Line Management

Point3Data can convert lidar scans and image data acquired from corridor surveys into detailed and accurate line models. This includes PLS-CADD modeling of terrain, vegetation, line sag-tension and line loading under various environmental extremes.

In addition, comprehensive structure models can be generated for analysis of stresses, guy wire geometry and attachment point detail. Additional data from thermal and UV imagery can be correlated and hot-spots and insulator breakdown points can be directly overlaid.

This ultimately translates into useful line ratings as well as comprehensive & accurate NERC-compliant reporting.
